Online Craps Gambling

Craps gambling is one of the most exhilarating games in available casinos, and one where a lot of shouting is heard. The craps table is designed especially for playing craps, and involves the use of two dice which are constantly inspected for any faults. Dice are replaced every eight hours, and specific rules have been set for players on how to handle these dice.

A pair of dice must be held in one hand and has to hit the wall on the opposite end of the table in every throw. If one or both are thrown off the table, a stickman must inspect them before they can be used in play again.

Twenty players can play at a craps table, each receiving a turn to throw, or ‘shoot’ the dice. If players do not wish to throw the dice, or if it is not their turn, then they can bet on a thrower. There are many bets that can be made on the table action, and the crew is comprised of a stickman, a boxman, and two dealers.

All new craps games begin with a 'come out' roll which is the first roll of the dice in a betting round. The come out roll can only be made after the preceding player sevens out. The shooter keeps shooting until they roll a seven. Then the play moves in a clockwise rotation, and therefore the new shooter is the player sitting to the left of the previous one.

The layout of a craps table is Pided into three areas: two side areas separated by a center one. Both side areas are reflections of one another and include pass and don’t pass bets, come and don’t come bets, odds bets, and field bets. The center of the table is joined with both side areas and holds the proposition nets. Dice are thrown across the table layout.

A pass line bet will win when the come out roll is seven or eleven (natural), and will lose when the come out roll is two, three, or twelve (craps). A don’t pass bet will win when a come out roll is two or three, and lose and lose with a roll of seven or eleven. Don’t pass bets tie when the come out roll is twelve.

Here a list of bets that can be made in a craps game:

Pass Line Bet:

With a pass line bet a 'natural' wins, and craps loses. A point that was rolled must be repeated before a seven is thrown. If this is done, a player will win. If the seven is rolled before the point, anyone who has placed a pass line bet will lose.

Odds on Pass Line Bet:

An additional bet can be made by taking odds after a point has been rolled. A point of four or ten pays the player 2:1, five or nine pays 3:2 and six or eight pays 6:5. Odds bets require an additional wager, and players win if the point number is rolled before a seven. This is the best bet in the craps game, because there is no craps house edge on odds bets.

Come Bet:

Come bets have similar rules to the pass line bet, but it differs because the bet can be made at any point after the pass line bet. The roll of the dice takes place after bets are place. Once again, if the roll comes out a natural, the player will win, and getting craps will mean losing. Again, if one of the other numbers is rolled, a point will be set. If the seven is rolled before the point is rolled again, bettors who have bet on the come bet will lose their bets.

Odds on a Come Bet:

This is the same as Odds on Pass Line bets.

Don't Pass Line Bet:

This is the exact opposite to the Pass Line Bet. When the first roll of the dice is a natural (7, 11) the player loses, and if it is a two or three, the will win. When the roll of the dice is a twelve, this is a tie. A point >means the dice falls on four, five, six, eight, nine, or ten, and only when the point is defeated by a seven does a don't pass line bet win.

Don't Come Bet:

This is a reversed version of the Come bet. If the dice land on two or three, players who have bet on don't come will win instantly. If the dice land on seven or eleven, the same bettors will lose instantly. If the roll is a twelve, it is considered a push, and the player will get his money back. If any of the other numbers are rolled, a point is established. To win a don't come bet, the shooter needs to roll a seven before rolling the point number again.

Place Bets:

To make a place bet, players choose their own point number. They can choose between a dice roll of four, five, six, eight, nine, or ten, and they will win if the number placed is rolled before seven. Payoffs are different here, and depend on the number bet upon. Unlike most other bets, a place bet can be cancelled at anytime.

Field Bets:

This bet applies only to the very next roll of the dice. Two, three, four, nine, ten, eleven, and twelve mean that the player has won, and five, six, seven, and eight are losing rolls. These bets have different payoffs. For example: two pays double (2:1) and twelve pays 3:1. All other winning dice rolls pay even money. (1:1)

Big Six, Big Eight Bets: These bets win if eight or six are rolled before a seven, and can be placed at any point after the come out roll. Here, six or eight is an even bet, and is paid off at 1:1 odds.

Proposition Bets:

Proposition bets can be made at anytime, and all proposition bets are single-roll bets, except hardway bets.

Any Craps:

Any craps bets win if 2, 3 or 12 is thrown, and the payoff is 8:1

Any Seven:

For an any seven bet, the next roll must be a seven to win. The payoff is 5:1.

Eleven:

Eleven means a win. Payoff 16:1

Ace Deuce:

This bet needs a three to win. Payoff 16:1

Aces or Boxcars:

Rolling a two or a twelve means a win. Payoff 30:1

Horn Bet:

This acts as the bet is on two, three, eleven, and twelve at the same time, and will win if any one of these numbers is rolled. Payoff depends on the number that is rolled.

Hardways:

This bet wins if the number is thrown hard (meaning as doubles), before it is thrown easy (any other way), or the seven is thrown. Payoffs: hard four and ten pay off at 8:1, and hard six and eight pay off at 10:1
