Other strategies have been developed which use card counting or money-management techniques in addition to the basic strategy, and some of them work very well, but it is more important to know and understand the basic strategy than to learn the other techniques.

If you want to play online blackjack, you’ll have no problem keeping a chart on hand to help you decide how to play your hand best. Once you play with the strategy chart for a while, though, you won’t need the chart to remember how to play best.
